Clement Shane Morwe

Shane Morwe holds an LLB degree from the University of Western Cape, South Africa and is currently completing his LLM degree at the same institution. Shane’s LLM-thesis focuses on minority language rights from a Namibian and international perspective.

Shane has been working at Koep and Partners as a holiday student since 2015 and commenced his articles of clerkship at Koep & Partners in January 2016 under the supervision of Stephen Vlieghe.

He is interested in general corporate and commercial law, labour law, litigation, constitutional law, domestic and international human rights law and the law of family, trusts and succession. In 2011 he was awarded a Golden Key Honour Award.  He was also part of the Dean’s Top 50 Programme between from 2011 to 2014. During his time at UWC, he was Vice-Chairman and later Chairman of the Namibian Society of UWC.

Shane is fluent in Afrikaans and English and is currently learning German.
